CUSTOM BOOK PRINTING FOR US CLIENTS
Custom books for authors, artists, agencies and publishers across the United States. Work with BookArt's Montreal team on paper, specialty bindings and finishes, with one-on-one support and physical prototypes to review and approve before production.
WORK WITH US FROM WHERE YOU ARE
Start with your idea, your specifications or a few reference books. We can help you compare materials and production options remotely, prepare for proofing and plan the next steps. You do not need to have every detail decided before getting in touch.

CUSTOM BINDINGS & SPECIALTY FINISHES
Choose a direction that suits the work: hardcover or softcover, section-sewn or PUR-bound construction, book cloth or printed covers. Foil stamping, blind debossing, screen printing and other specialty finishes can add a distinct material character. Available combinations depend on your format, paper, page count and quantity.

PHYSICAL PROTOTYPES & APPROVAL
Review the book before committing to the full production run. Depending on your project, proofing can include a digital PDF, printed sheets or a fully bound physical prototype. Your representative can advise which proof will help you evaluate colour, paper, construction and finishing.
Allow time for prototype delivery, your review and any file revisions. Production follows the relevant proof approval. Read more about proofing and colour.
QUOTES, CURRENCY & US DELIVERY
Include your US delivery city, state and ZIP code when requesting an estimate. Share the intended quantity and any firm delivery deadline so the team can review production and shipping requirements together.
When reviewing your formal quotation, confirm whether amounts are in CAD or USD and whether shipping, taxes and any applicable customs or brokerage charges are included. Delivery costs and timing depend on the shipment and destination; ask your representative to confirm the details for your project before approval.
See our production and shipping information for general guidance.
PLAN FOR YOUR LAUNCH
For an exhibition opening, book launch or other fixed date, plan backwards from when the books need to arrive. Allow time for material selection, file preparation, prototypes, approval, production and delivery. Share your deadline at the start so we can review what is feasible for your specifications.
START YOUR PROJECT
For a useful estimate, send your trim size, page count, quantity, colour requirements, preferred binding and finishes, US delivery destination and target date. If a choice is still open, tell us and we can help you compare the options.
